Thai account going to be blocked because I have no thai id!

So I have lived in Thailand for 15 years and I've had a thai paypal account for many years. All of a sudden, I'm now asked to enter a thai ID number otherwise my account will be locked. 

What am I suppose to do? Enter the fake ID or a friend's ID so I can continue using my account?
This is beyong stupid.

Sadly its the governments/banks of each country that make the rules that paypal have to abide by.
