Setting up business account - can't use Canadian postal code

Hi, I'm trying to integrate a business account into my previous personal account. I'm in Canada and have it all set to Canada, I enter my address, province (from the pop-down menu), and then when it asks for my postal code, it won't accept it because they require a valid US ZIP code! So now I'm stuck and can't move forward. Has anybody else had this issue? I'm waiting on customer service about this but they seem sort of useless.

If its asking you for a U.S zip code then it sounds as if you have opened a U.S paypal account and not a Canadian one?

It asks for a Canadian postal code but only accepts a US Zip code. I've double checked, I'm on the Canadian site; the drop down menu lists Canadian provinces.
