Phone number no longer in use can’t complete security check

Can anyone help I moved from the UK to Canada and no longer have the phone number registered with PayPal. Subscriptions are continuing to be paid for but I can’t access my account as it says they need to call me but that fails as that number is now a cancelled landline number In the UK.

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You should really withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts / cancel any subscriptions and close the old Paypal account before you move countries. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved and may need to contact customer services for help to resolve things.

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones when available (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.

4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.

If you go to the 'Help & Contact' icon on the PayPal website. Then if you click the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of the page. From here, if you click the 'Password and Account Access' option, then 'Login Problems'. On the next page, you will see a 'Call Us' option. You do not need to be logged in to use this feature.

Thank you so much for your help. I should have been more specific I still have my English bank account, house etc in England therefore whilst here in Canada I use that PayPal account for purchases in England. I have done so for 5 years it is only recently with the new security that I can no longer access as I don’t have that that phone number any more to complete the security check. I will try some of your suggestions. Being 8 hours behind I probably haven’t tried during UK business hours. Thanks again
