Adding 2-step verification invalid phone number

I'm trying to setup 2 step verification text code method but when I select my phone number [removed] it says the number you entered is invalid

the number is 100% valid, I added that number to my account and verified it, and it's definitely the same country, that number worked on google and other service platforms.

 

Any help would be appreciated 😄

For 2- step verification pls replace phone number [removed] with [removed] to send verification.

Sorry to hear that you're not able to set up 2-step verification in your PayPal account. By enabling 2-step verification, you're adding an extra layer of security to your PayPal account. Please try clearing cache/cookies and/or trying a different browser or device to see if this works. Also, I suggest you to manually enter your mobile number with country code and follow the prompts to finish the 2-step verification set up.
