The UK Government proposes banning the charging of surcharges to cover credit card and PayPal fees from January 2018. Does this mean that PayPal will be stopping charging account holders/sellers being charged fees or will they continue to charge them.

Hi liteman,
Thank you for contacting the PayPal Community Forum.
The fee charged by PayPal does not relate to your card, this is a fee charged on the sale of your item and is charged for use of the PayPal service along with the Seller Protection Policy Coverage.

Presumably this means that Paypal will continue to levy these fees after January 2018
