My account has been limited and funds frozen for over 1 year.

Paypal froze my account in Feb 2018 and told me that the balance of 94.02GBP would be help for 180 days to allow any of my creditors to claim (my Limited Company was closed). 

 

No creditor claimed, and despite uploading all the documents required by Paypal (bank statements, photo ID, utility bills etc) they have still not released my funds.

 

The service is appalling - no-one answers my emails and the phone calls were a waste of time.  I chatted online to someone who seemed to know what they were talking about, which is when I uploaded the requested documents.  However, the chat button is now greyed out.  I am at my wits end and beyond furious.  I know it isn't a huge amount for they are holding my money for no discernible reason and refusing to speak to me.  How do I get round this?   If I click the notification box it it says ' we need more information from you to resolve a problem with your account'   It doesn't tell me what information they need though.  

 

Anyone else had this issue?

When you try to contact over mail do you receive any auto-response mail at all? If you do, are you responding to that auto-response mail? You would need to do that in order for an agent on PayPal support team would get your mail in their queue.

Regarding the calls, they should be able to tell you what information you need to provide them.

There is really no other way you would be able to get hold of your funds than to either be able to see in resolution center what information you need to send in or to contact PayPal via phone or mail.

This is incorrect also because I have called and waited in hold for a combined 3 hours and was told that the balance was still held, no reason to give you or any solution for you to complete so PayPal will release the balance. No complaints, no issues ever no returned calls or emails. Nothing. I have offered to help with clearing up any and all issues you may have but that doesn't mean anything. So if you're holding money for no reason or will give me instructions or request action, what is the problem?
