I am so frustrated with a situation that happened two months ago and is still unresolved with PayPal. A buyer purchased a $15 cross from me at a craft show and several days later forgot about this and thought there was an error on her credit card statement, so she disputed the charge. When I contacted her by email, she apologized and called Discover to let them know, and was told the case was closed. However, PayPal refuses to credit my account and has also charged me a fee, so now I have had a $35 negative balance. Multiple calls have been made by both me and the buyer to no avail. The website is not user friendly and has no accessible way for me to address the open case, even thru the so-called resolution center. It seems like my money is being held unfairly by PayPal. I was new to PayPal Here and certainly will be canceling my account if this is ever resolved. I guess any buyer can dispute a charge at any time, resulting in a lengthy and difficult process that works against the seller, regardless of the reason, yet my account still indicates “unauthorized transaction”. I no longer trust this service with my transactions.
