I sent in an order for a toaster oven on a site called Areca Store. The payment was through PayPal. Afterwards I saw a charge on my account to a different name (Dang <removed>). I emailed the company but received no reply. I called but the phone was busy. So suspecting fraud I reported an authorized charge to the Resolution Center That was my mistake because PayPal easily found that I had authorized the payment even though the website store was a apparently a scam. So now the dispute is closed and the resolution center blocks me from issuing further details of this scam. I just get a message indicating the dispute dispute decision has already been made and is closed. Do I have any recourse or am I out $150.00 while this scam continues?
