I created the account years ago. Then I came across a product sold by a Hong Kong merchant which only accepts PayPal as the payment mean. Hence yesterday I logged in successfully, and learnt that my account is limited. I then followed the instructions to submit my bank account and credit card statements for review. I also linked my mobile phone for two-step security. Today when I tried to log in, after inputting my password and the code received with my mobile, they cannot let me log in and ask me to contact PayPal. Annoyingly, I can only contact PayPal after logged in as the webpage suggests (since I am not in Hong Kong and I am not going to pay for international call just to get something to work because of unknown reasons blocking me from using my account). I have no idea what I could do next. I cannot log in and yet I cannot contact the PayPal team without logging in. This is the stupidest thing I have ever experienced.
