I made a purchase of USD312.00. On of the items was missing parts so I requested a refund of USD156.00 from a seller. The seller agreed to refund me that amount. Paypal sent me an email confirming that the seller had agreed to refund me USD156.00, all I needed to do was to log in to my account and respond and accept the offer, however, when I hit the 'Respond' button, the website did not complete the respond process but instead showed the error message: "Let's try that again. Looks like something went wrong on our end. Return to resolution center". So, I requested this bug to be fix so I could accept the USD156.00, but instead of fixing the button so I could accept it, Paypal went ahead and changed the amount from USD156.00 down to 78.00 and that has been the only refund I received, only half. I have explained the situation through the resolutions center, no one wants to help there, I also called the number, was transferred over 3 times, wasted half an hour long distance call and still no one, no one wants to help me. Has someone had an issue where Paypal deliberately changed the refund amount? Do anybody know how can I escalate this to a resolution? Thanks in advance.
