Just wanted to share my experience about PayPal denying the increase and selecting your backup funding source...don't purchase anything that is going to exceed your credit line unless you have the funds in your primary (bank) account to cover it. If denied PayPal will overdraft your account and if you don't have enough overdraft protection to still cover the purchase they will overdraft you again a few days later and they aren't able to stop the process. My experience I bought a washer and dryer for 1000 I didn't have the money in my bank so tried credit and looked at my PayPal credit after to confirm the credit was approved but the charge showed up as being drawn from my bank account so I called the vendor (thd) to cancel they processed my cancellation and a few days later I got my insufficient fund charge from the bank so It was my fault and I didn't have a problem with it...3 days later I got my direct deposit from work and later on during the day $1000 went missing from my account the charge was PayPal ach for the order I canceled I contacted PayPal and they said if the first time they try it doesn't go through even if you had canceled the order the system automatically tries again so keeping it as short as possible PayPal couldn't do anything they kept my $1000 for 5 days then put it to my PayPal balance which took 2 more days to get to my bank account all the time my order had been canceled and I had other payments bounce due to the messed up system PayPal has.
