I recently made a purchase online using PayPal, this turned into. Pending, I have used PayPal for several years and never experienced this before. Apparently this turned into an e cheque, again new to me. As the purchase was delayed the item is now out of stock, the seller has agreed that if and when they get the payment they will refund me. I have tried to get help from PayPal by phone and their chat line, the phone help gave three different explanations, the chat line just keep quoting the PayPal information with no explanation of where my money is, why they keep it for so long, and if or when I get a refund will I be able to immediately pay it in to my bank. I am now extremely wary of using PayPal, as I don’t want a similar situation arising again for no apparent reason.
