Hi! We are developing a web app for our clients to sell their 'digital goods'. We have multiple clients (sellers). We only want to initiate the transactions from the buyers directly to the sellers (our clients) and check the status of the transactions, not taking any payment from buyers/sellers. We only want the minimum necessary permission to our clients (sellers) PayPal account. What is the best way to achieve this? This is my idea: - Our clients need to - have a PayPal business account - register our web app as a 'REST API app' - give the app only the 'Accept payment' permission - create a Webhook pointing to our web app (to notify us if a transaction is complete) - We could use - PayPal's 'Basic Integration': PayPal checkout, JavaScript SDK, adding the PayPal button to the web app and initiate a transaction to the approprite seller - Implement the webhook listener to get the notif from PayPal about the transaction Questions: - Am I correct with the above theory? Why not? 🙂 - Is it possible to get webhook notifications not on every transaction, etc. on a particular PayPal accout but filtered by a given 'REST API app' as initiator, etc.? Many thanks you for your help!!
