Rather than wait for them to solve it (it took 14 hours or so last September) remember you can access your PayPal account via a web browser and withdraw/pay there while they sort out the app issue. Annoying I know, but it does mean your money remains accessible.

It’s now working again for me in the UK. Seemed to have been fixed late hours of 21st Sept (balance now showing and can withdraw funds via the app) and I’ve noticed that I can pay for stuff via PayPal without a notification that a pop up has been blocked and having to log in manually. Hopefully this debacle is over and we can go back to the easy use of the PayPal we’d all got used to.

I think it’s a temporary app issue which hopefully the makers will rectify and reissue a new working version. We can but hope eh? I’ll give them a month to sort it but that said, we shouldn’t have to wait longer than a week given the sheer volume of people who are having this same issue.

Yep having the same issue. Can only access balance and withdraw money using PayPal.com via a browser. Inconvenient to say the least but I’m glad I found this community to know it’s not just me. I initially thought it was another threshold issue (where you can o pay have x amount of transactions) but no - it’s plain and simple the app is poop and not doing what it ought to!
