I went to do an instant transfer to debit card on my app. It said the process could be delayed & that i couple help move it along by submitting a picture of my ID. But my app crashed when I went to take the picture. I go back into PayPal & it shows that it was submitted as an instant BANK transfer (not the debit that i clicked), and that it's pending. After 3 calls to Customer Service (who have absolutely no idea what they're doing), I was told by a phone rep he "guarantees" the deposit will be made within 24 hours. Yes, a call center rep across the world can promise me that? Either he's so full of crap his eyes are brown, or PayPal really is just holding people's money because they can. He said it's because it's the first time I've done a withdrawal to that bank account. But I've used the account & it's debit card to make purchases. What kind of idiocy is it to take money from an account in minutes, but not to put it in. My bank account is "confirmed," what's the problem? And how can I submit my ID so that I can get my money ASAP? If it is because its the first withdrawal, why in the hell do they not make this information clear UP FRONT? I'm trying to run from a hurricane PayPal, the least you could do is not be [censored].
