Just to clarify: My paypal account is from Chile and i manage the money in USD So i got some doubts with the paypal fees recently, i do commisions and i price them adding a small fee that counteract Paypals Fees. I usually invoice. But i always end up getting them wrong and end up getting a little less than the money i expected to make. Ive read the tos and theres a 5.4% + a fixed amount depending of the currency of the country fee for the non merchant fee rate i have, but also if the currency is from another country and i need it in USD i guess i also would need to take into account the 4.5% fee if someone pays me in a currency that is not USD. An i think the transaction fee is applied first and then the conversion fee right? . Also idk if, in the transaction fee, the 5.4% fee is applied before the fixed currency fee or after?. Also idk which conversion rates paypal uses. So if, for example, i want to recieve 4 USD, and someone is paying me in CAD , so after they pay me the x ammount in CAD that money would go to the 5.4%+ 0.30 CAD fee, then it would go to the 4.5% fee so its converted to USD. So how much should that x CAD be so i recieve 4 USD? , according to my calculations its 6.09 CAD, but im not sure and i keep getting this wrong, so someone can help me please? I would also want to be able to know if there is any more variables (that i may not be taking into account) anyways thanks for reading and stuff and im wating a response
