Hi,
We as a vendor of the platform for cloud services provide PayPal plugins (for PayPal Checkout, PayPal Standard and PayPal Pro Hosted APIs) with our platform to service providers around the globe, including Europe.
I am trying to understand whether or not we should change our plugins to be SCA (Strong Customer Authentication)-complained. On PayPal web site (https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/3dsecure-faqs ) I've found the following Q&A:
Q: Do I need to do anything?
A: No, you don’t. If you get any question from your shopper that they have difficulty to pay because they can’t remember the passcode/password for their card, please refer them to their card issuing bank to re-set it, otherwise ask them to contact PayPal and we will take care of the process. You don’t have to do anything. The 3D-Secure process is just one of many security checks we have in place to protect you and your customers.
Is the above answer true for all PayPal APIs? I am confused because I haven’t found any information about SCA/3DS in PayPal Checkout or PayPal Standard documentation. I’ve found this only for PayPal Pro:

Thank you in advance!
Best regards
