Basically a buyer from ebay retracted his payment from a bank after receiving an item. There is nothing wrong with the item and paypal/ebay already closed cases in my favor. But because a buyer retracted payment from his bank I have a negative balance on my paypal account till dispute is solved between paypal/buyers bank. Now paypal is calling me and asking to cover negative balance or my account or there might be limitations put on my account and sent to debt collection department. Basically threatening me. And they are telling me that they want to help and protect me? How ridiculous does that sound? Where is my seller's protection in this case? Paypal customer support did not provide any information or dates when balance has to be cleared. Do they have any rules or SLAs around it? Because everything they say now is 'oh, could you cover at least part of negative balance'? when I say no, they jump to interrupt me saying 'it has to be agreed right now or otherwise my account will have problems. I am really shocked and frustrated on how Paypal customer support talks to me in this case when I am a victim of a fraud. It does not feel like I have any seller protection at all. Any advice?
