Hello: I saw a video for a cellphone charging cable called 'A Lazy Standup Charging Cable' from a company called Storm Media Limited, based in China (which I only found out about when I ran into problems). The video demonstrated that you could place your cellphone onto the charging plug and bend the coil in any direction. I was interested in this option as I often take a great many photos with my cellphone and this would allow me to place the phone directly over an item with the least amount of hand contact. I ordered the item on February 12, 2019. On March 16, 2019, I contact PP after I hadn't received my order and despite emailing the vendor about the expected delivery of the item, with no response, and requested that PP look into the situation. Ultimately, PP got back to me and said that the vendor had shipped the item and gave the tracking number. The item finally turned up on April 3, 2019, almost two months after it was ordered. That wasn't bad enough, when I went to place the cellphone on the coil, the weight of the phone was such that it toppled over. I then sent a message to the vendor to voice my complaint and asked for return information. Once, again, they never replied. Once again I went back to PP and put in a dispute. PP got back to me saying that my claim was closed and they were siding with the vendor!!! I have to admit, I was floored. I have been with PayPal almost from the beginning of their inception. Over those years, I have had very few complaints/disputes. I called a representative at PP and discussed the issue. The answer was that there weren't enough complaints against the vendor to warrant they help me any further. I am still stunned! I put the coil away and didn't look at it again until yesterday. I decided that I would use it just for charging. To my shock, I found that that doesn't even work. I have a protective cover on my cellphone. The plug isn't deep enough to accommodate the cover!! I tested it by taking off the cover, and that worked. The bottom line is that I am not going to struggle getting the cover off each time to charge it. It doesn't work for what I originally purchased it for and neither the vendor nor PP has provided me with an option to return the coil. I can only conclude that PP is become 'greedy' enough that they are going to favor the vendor and to heck with the buyer! I did a number of internet searches about the vendor, and as you might have guessed, they leave a lot to be desired. Does anyone have a suggestion or comment? I am still willing to return the item, but I want some assurance that the vendor will honestly do the credit. I have my doubts. Thank you, Joyce Chorbajian
