Someone from eBay that I’ve been talking to offered to purchase a table I had just bought and knew nothing about. They, buyer said that the table and parts were made in 1992 and that it was collectible . They offered me $200 shipped and I agreed. The buyer deposit the money into my PayPal account with the title 1992 table. This person is a very big seller on eBay and knows the ins and outs well. I shipped the table to them last week which cost me $155.00.. today they received the table complaining that is was missing the original box and instructions. I had it shipped and packaged through USPS so not sure what happened. Then said he found the instructions and some of the parts are 1998 and it isn’t as collectible as he though and wants to return it and wants his money refunded and if I didn’t he’d go through PayPal. I said that the buyer would have to pay for the return shipping but he said that because it’s not as it was discribed I the seller would be responsible for shipping. Is this true. Am I out $200 and have to pay the return shipping. I think that he’s playing me.
