I've had money sitting in my account for a few days and went to transfer it earlier today. Rather than wait the 2 or 3 days I thought I would use the instant transfer method and eat the 1% transfer fee costs. I go to do that and it asks for my bank account or debit card information. I think hey that's weird, they already have my bank account information on file, I've been using the standard 2-3 service for a while now. So I enter the info, and it says hey, we already have that information on file? So in effect I'm stuck in this stupid non customer centric idiot loop. Texting help here is useless as the issue isn't noted in their automated response. I decide to call, I'm given a number to access to get me to a person quicker. Of course, that doesn't work and 12 minutes later a person answers. He looks into the situation and says in his scripted response, oh yes, I understand you want your money immediately but that's not a service me offer at this time. I said wait, of course you do it's right there on the screen, see "instant transfer for 1%". He says yes I understand but we don't offer that. I can give you a 20.00 voucher (basically allow me access to 20.00 of the money I ALREADY HAVE WAITING FOR ME. No thanks. What is going on? Between the HORRIBLE decision Ebay made to no longer use PP as a seller to get money, to this fiasco with PP I'm really tired of dealing with issues like this. Why do they offer the service, and they say they don't offer the service?
