I purchased some metal - a specific size and grade. It arrived, wrong size and faulty - it was delaminating (peeling & cracking) and unsafe to use. I contact seller - she says tough, if you want better quality next time you have to pay for it. I contact Paypal, open a dispute, seller basically says the same thing, I upload pictures showing size and damage to material, then escalate claim to paypal. Paypal find in the favour of the seller as "the goods are materially similar". BUT THEY ARE FAULTY?! I have emailed Paypal to complain and have asked that this be looked into again - according to the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods should be of a satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. My rights have been breached because the item I received is WRONG and I am legally due a refund or replacement, and Paypal are doing nothing about this. I have sent another email to paypal - this is a lot of money for me - $1090. Am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated.
