It said to get my 4 digit confirmation code that my card had been charged a 'null' amount and that it would be '0.01' in amount. I open my account and I have been charged £1 and it wants to charge me more to confim it AGAIN.
"After you click Continue, we'll charge this card no more than £2.00 GBP or equivalent. You'll need to confirm these details by checking your card statement. The details should appear in 2-3 days. We'll refund the money into your PayPal account within 24 hours of you confirming your card."
Why am I being randomnly charged and why did the first amount say '0.01' and turn out to be 1. I feel like I have been stolen from. Yes it is 'small money' but it never used to be like this, and it didnt warn me of the charges correctly.
I am shocked, and to be honest pretty displeased. It may not seem like a lot of money to some, but if every time I signed up to something I lost £3, I wouldnt be able to afford to pay my bills.
Is this the new norm? A full explanation would be helpful.
