Thanks for your response. Since you're the only one, I give kudos 😃 I think I found a solution. Give it your home number, then skip the verification. It seems to stop all nags and emails asking for a mobile number, even if the verification fails. Just leave the number up there and make sure to unset "contact me on this number" so they don't try to SMS it. Paypal's tech support's solution was basically add a mobile number then disable the "contact me on this number" setting. Side note: having to do a reCAPTCHA for every single post is insane. I'm already logged in! Even worse than humblebundle.com's crazy repeated captcha requirements. Also, the captcha expires if I don't click submit fast enough. why....?
