Over the past 3 weeks I've called customer service 8 times, spent hours and hours on the phone, but could not get an answer as to when payments made to my account would be available. I have 2 payments from Ebay sales, both were tracked and should have been released in 7 days as I understood it. Apparently as a new seller it appears I can wait up to 90 days. However, the lowest paying amount was released the other day, but not the highest payments. I didn't have to wait 90 days for one payment, so why is the other still being held? I processed the one payment to my bank account and thought OK, at least I've received one payment. Not so. Instead of paying me, PayPal withdrew the amount instead. I once again called customer service, who insisted that I had been paid! I then spent a further hour on the phone to my bank to be provided with all the details so that I could prove to PayPal that they had withdrawn, not deposited. I now have to wait, god know how long, before I get a response, and pray that I do not get one of those generic emails that answer everything, except the question "Why are you taking money from my bank account". I find it incredible that such an organisation dealing with our money can make such errors and have a customer service in place, that cannot answer a question and generic emails that do the same. Surely they can find some way of making it easier for customers to transact without spending weeks trying to get an answer.
