Hey everyone, I know this isn't a new topic but just wanted to gather some concrete actions to take. I sold a computer GPU (980 Ti) in working condition -- took it out of my computer running perfectly, put it on a shelf until it was sold. The buyer has contacted me and said that it arrived dead. The story is a bit goofy because they said it was dead, but then clarified their entire computer wouldn't turn on with it installed (Which that has nothing to do with the GPU), then they bought an identical one on Amazon and that it worked first try. I'm worried they may have taken parts from mine or fried it somehow. I haven't approved the return on PayPal yet. I also covered the initial shipping for $250 with USPS just in case. Should I: Accept the return and inspect the item If it's actually fine, resell it and this is over If it's dead, open a dispute with USPS or PayPal? If it's dead, the only possibilities are damage in shipping or that the buyer jacked it up. Let me know what the best thing to do here is so I'm not out $250. Thanks in advance. Cheers!
