Has anyone else experienced a recent difficulty in working with Paypal and a real arrogance and lack of support from Customer Service? In the past 2 weeks I had a transaction held for no reason for 7 days before they would pay to the receiver, causing me no end of issues. Their response was matter of fact, totally unclear and the reason essentially "because it was flagged " and that was that. After complaining they have now sent an email insisting I verify my account or it will be cancelled. I did so and when I asked why the truly arrogant response was Oh we do that from now on and if you dont like it to bad. I have not had to verify my account since the early days some 10 years ogo so why now? I dont care about it but I am getting annoyed at Paypals NEQ "its our way or the highway " attitude and complete lack of customer service. Has Paypal been purchased by some other group? do they have new management? Its NOT the excellent helpful organisation Ive known for over 10 years.
