So I bought an iPhone from Australia . The seller canceled the item after I payed, and has said the PayPal fund had been held could I make a bank transfer . I said no, and as he canceled the item, so could he refund the money. Seller refused , on bases that he never canceled the item, and PayPal would not allow him to refund the money as it was being held.
I called PayPal customer service agent, after reviewing some of the details, customer service agent opened a dispute "for an item not received".
I stressed more than once, that I was worried I had lost my mine, and that time frame was a problem for me. I do not want wait 2 month for my money.I was told not to worry, I would get my money back no later then 20 days after the dispute had been opened .
Today with I see on my account, with no email from PayPal, see the case has been close. In case history it says, closed by PayPal . And on case details it says .."The case was closed in your favor!" But no refund, no email no nothing from Paypal.
I called PayPal, as I was confused by this, as no refund had been put in my account . I was told by a rather, rushed sounding agent that, I have wait 10 days to open a case.I pointed out that their own costumer service agents opened the case, and if that was so why did he not say as much. To which I got a very simple and confused "Yes I know. thank you for calling PayPal "....which confused me even more. I asked " and my money" its fine you will get it back. To which he basically said, thanks for calling and put the phone down .
What is more, the case has been closed but on the progress bar, it says " under review by PayPal, estimated resolution 24th of December".
I tried to call Paypal back but there lined were closed !
So Im totally confused, no clue what to do next or what's happened to my $500.
Can any one help.
The agent told me, the cased had been closed as "for an item not received".
