We are a business in Australia and only been using Paypal only for a few months and I wonder if anyone else has had the same issue. A customer of mine used Paypal to pay for a service - the charge of the service was $52. Paypal attempted to take $121.53 from her account, but still only transfer the amount of $52 (less costs) to my business. The customer queered the charge - Paypal confirmed, by email, to her that they had paid my business the amount of $121.53 and yet the transaction on my account showed $52. Customer contacted me and sent me copy of email after she had attempted to sort matter out with them and couldn't get anywhere due to extremely poor customer service by Paypal. I then spoke with Paypal - their answer was to call her a liar (its on the tape) and that she had only ever been charged the $52 and that she had cancelled this transaction. Even spoke with a Supervisor who seemed to think it was all about scoring points and not sorting the matter out - she hang up on me and continually thought it was her right to speak over me. I have both instances with Customer service People who can be either be brilliant or then there are the ones who lie and refuse to assist the customer - they are absolutely horrible to deal with and should be got rid of! Paypal - you need to do some more training! Anyone else had these issues?
