Hi Folks,
So, recently I sold an item for £99.99 but the buyer disputed and said they didn't receive it. PayPal then refunded them via their resolution centre decision. Today I called and advised I had all the shipping information to show the item was delivered and wanted to open an appeal. The man on the phone looked at my information and instantly said I had already given enough information to win the dispute. So the operator opened the appeal for me and advised he'd close it instantly in my favour and refund the £99.99. Happy days.
Anyway, The refund comes through almost straight away. £99.99. BUT my balance now says only £92.80. My balance was definitely on £0.00 before the refund as I was told by the PayPal phone menu it was (and I like to keep it at Zero anyway) and I haven't bought anything in the past few days.
Does anyone know where the £7.19 difference has gone?
Many thanks.
UPDATE: My balance is now £93.02 but it still says €107.79 EUR. Is this some kind of conversion issue? Because the refund which the appeal has now reverse didn't remove Euros from me, it was £99.99. If this is a conversion issue this seems rather unfair as I am losing money over a dispute I was told I should never have lost in the first place.
