Hello, I did a bathroom remodel back in May ‘18, I was there for almost 3 week’s completing the job. The client was there every single day, made me lunch and even tipped me $200 cash after the work was completed. Then all of a sudden my account gets hit with 3 claims, customer stating that the item purchased was not as stated. How can she do that? She didn’t purchase an item, this was a bathroom remodel. It’s now past 45 days with no resolution in sight. I’ve been in contact with PayPal, calling every week to find out anything and nobody knows anything. And they’ve even thrown my account into collections with 3 open claims, which I spoke to a supervisor who said they should of never done that with claims still open. So now I am getting calls to collect the money I’m negative in my account. I’ve been with PayPal for 5 yrs, thousands of dollars, and nobody seems to care. I get emails stating PayPal is fighting for me but when I call in nobody seems to care. Has anyone else had this issue? How long did it take to resolve? I’ve been told we are waiting on customers bank to come to a resolution.....but how are they able to judge my work or to even make that call? PayPal has been the number one company I’ve used for my business and yet they have nothing to protect me as the so called seller.
