I can't believe they are getting away with this. They said 50% off which means they expect us to believe this piece of trash that i received in the mail is worth 60 bucks????!!!! I said more like 5, but upon thinking about it, it's probably closer to 3 and that's retail. Probably cost less than a dollar to make. And the sounds it makes???? What the Hell are they supposed to be? I've heard better sword sound effects in a 1970's B grade cartoon. Really disappointed. I mean' I knew I wasn't getting some hand made, collectors item that has every detail carefully replicated like I have seen some people advertise for hundreds of dollars. But I did at least expect a similar look with metal making up the bulk of the construction. Just like the video showed. And I would be less angry if the sounds were at least authentic. In this day and age where I can Google search how to make an Adruidno into a light saber sound effects machine myself, how difficult is it for them to make such a chip in the land where chips are a dime a dozen. This is unacceptable and if we stick together and don't give up Pay Pal or Yin <removed> will have to at least compensate us somehow. I wont stop until I am satisfied. Initially I was like well, I just lost 30 bucks, but then I put batteries in the damn thing and my ears actually hurt from the sound that ensued. It was all I could do to unscrew the battery cover and get the batteries out before I lost my mind. Up till then I was prepared to just accept I had been duped and get on with my life. But now I am determined to follow this through to as far as I can possibly go and afford. I have contacted the seller as PayPal instructed and logged a complaint with them. They suggest first trying to resolve it between Yin and I but I am sure I'll never here back from him. PayPal should block him from using their service at the very least. I'm sure it won't stop his deceptive sales techniques, but at least they won't have to answer for why they allow such deception to take place on their platform. Oh, wait, maybe it's because he sells boat loads of the fake sabers and they get paid fees from his sales. Come on guys. PayPal you should be ashamed to be associated with this person/company. If this doesn't get resolved in a manner that befits the level of deception I might just have to cancel my PayPal account and end a 15 year relationship with over 15 000 dollars worth of transactions and move along to Apple Pay or some other competitor. Maybe I'll start sending Elon Musk a few messages and see if he thinks its cool that you guys are favoring crooks. Someone will have to address this and I won't sop trying until they do. Not that I think Elon Musk will take my calls or emails, but it'd be worth a try...lol! Damn! I'm just soooo mad for being taken for a fool. This type of crap degrades the fabric of society and leads to mistrust between us and the big corporations. Not that there was much to begin with, but at least lie to me and give me my 30 bucks back, and you can go on making shady deals in back alleys about new ways to **bleep** us consumers out of our hard earned cash to your heart's content. But at least don't advertise a thing and sell another. That's just not good business for anyone. Hoorah for the little guy!!
