I feel as though I just got scammed by PayPal. I sold a pair of snowboard bindings to a guy, and gave him an extra pair for free. He received them and returned the free ones that I sent him. He then filed a case against me. In our conversations he mentioned that he did this to someone else. PayPal informed me of the case opened up against me and instructed me to give all the information pertaining to this case. I sent screenshots of our conversation in which he says that he scammed this other guy. Also screenshots of the tracking number, screenshots of the tracking number saying it was delivered. Screenshots of him saying he's crazy and owns & plays with illegal guns. There's no way in the world he should be able to win this dispute. Then PayPal gets back to me and says I lost. When I finally got to talk to someone, I was informed that all PayPal does is forward my defense to the credit card company. I had ample proof of him lying and admitting to scamming someone else in the same way. How can PayPal get away with this? They have to be held responsible don't they? I don't have an agreement with his credit card company, I have one with PayPal in which they are not supposed to scam me I'm pretty sure. I'm not sure if this is going to get posted in the right spot or if anyone will be able to read it at all? Need some help here. My account is in the red
