Dear PayPal Community,
I was recently scammed by a seller posing to be from France but actually was from China. I bought a Cartier watch but was sent a fake one. I filed a complaint at PayPal and my case was granted, however, I need to return the item to the seller. My issue is that the return address of the seller is not existing and may be fake - wrong postal code, non-existing address. PayPal insists to return it but I am saying that it will not be acceptable by DHL since address could not be located.
I am willing to return the fake item but my issue is that address is not existing.
I tried explain it several times with PayPal resolutions specialists but seems that they don't have the appreciation of my case.
Can you please help me on my next steps? I want my money refunded that's why I used PayPal. But it seems that Buyer Protection doesn't check the addresses of it users if they are valid or not. The scammer has found a loophole to prevent me from returning the item thus making PayPal rule in favor of the scammer as it will appear that I have not return the item.
Any help will be provided.
