If you see it in your activity as Pending it was probably sent as an eCheck which can a while to process. But once it says Completed/Cleared, you're good to ship the item, but don't ship it until you see the money in your Available or Pending Balance. If you got an email, but don't see any transaction in the PayPal activity, then it is probably fraudulent.

Click Currencies under the Available Balance.
Select the currency you want from the drop down and click Add Currency
After that click the radio button next to the new currency and hit Make Primary underneath that.

They don't post at the same time as most eChecks get batched out of the bank at different times of the day. There's no real way to know the time of day the eCheck will clear.

Emails will only come from an official paypal.com email. If it doesn't have that it's fake, the emails will also refer to you by your first and last name. And if there is an email stating that there are funds in your account, but the account tied to that email doesn't have (pending or available) money, it's not legitimate.

You can do that, but it will take between 3 and 5 business days to make it into your PayPal balance, so keep that in mind.

If you just added it, you will have to wait 30 days after linking it before you can transfer into your PayPal account. You can still use the bank account to make purchases or send money in the meantime.

4. Under Getting Paid and Managing My Risk click "Update" to the right of Block payments
5. Under Block the following payments check the box labeled Pay with eCheck transfer for all website payments except eBay.
