I transferred an amount of Php25,000.00 from my Paypal tp my Gcash wallet. I had no idea that i reached my cash-in and cash-out limit with Gcash because Gcash do not have a feature of checking if you're already maxed out or how much money you can cash-in or out left. After transferring my money from Paypal to Gcash, It showed in Paypal that the transaction is in "completed" status but nothing shows in my Gcash wallet. After 2-3 seconds I received a text message from Gcash that I reached my limit and to try a lower amount or to call 2882.
I called 2882 because I couldn't find my money, not in Paypal and nothing in Gcash. The Gcash rep. told me to wait 3 days for their underwriters to fix the issue and gave me a reference number. They said they can't do anything about it asap because they have to find where my money is. Seriously?? I have processed a refund request in my paypal as well to make sure that paypal's system is aware of issue. After 2 days I got my money back but it had caused a lot of inconvenience because I paid my bills late.
Their system sucks! They should have at least a message prompt or warning like " You are trying to cash-in or out an amount that exceeds your monthly limit, please cancel or try a different amount to avoid inconvenience", they don't have that! They just take your money and tell you " Hey! You reached your limit, we will hold your money for 2-3 days and you can't use it".
