I used to have faith and trust in PayPal. I knew that I could make a purchase, and if I was scammed or otherwise missold something, I would quite easily be able to get it back, as long as I can prove it.
However my last three recent disputes for incorrectly described and poor quality items/services have all been unsuccessful, for three entirely different things, over the course of the last year. I wait for the other party, and if they don't answer, I'll take it to a dispute, where I provide full information, evidence where possible. My last three claims have all gone sour at this stage, after the other party has commented. It seems they know how to manipulate the PayPal system and keep their money by saying some magic on their side, which I cannot see, most likely absolute B.S.
I used to trust PayPal. Now I don't. I have ZERO faith in PayPal, I do not trust them, and I would much rather pay directly via card - avoiding PayPal - as they provide much better protection and support. The buyers guarantee thing is absolute BS, and the system is poor.
Why can I not see what the seller has wrote?
Why can we not converse further with PayPal moderation?
Why can I not appeal PayPal's decision in the case?
Why can't PayPal ask me for further information properly when a case has been put forward to them?
Why do they not take in to account that the seller didn't respond to all of my prior attempts to resolve the issue?
Why can I not edit a comment, add a comment, or add attachments further in the process?
Isn't PayPal supposed to protect the consumer? Isn't that guarantee why people prefer to use PayPal, or certainly, used to?
I'm almost certainly done with PayPal. I will only use it when I have to, on a seller I trust. This resolutions/dispute system is flawed. This company was better when it was with eBay, now it's gone down the sh!tter.
