So after experiencing one of the worst customer experiences I ever had with paypal, and their mistakes processing my payment- I wanted to resolve the negative balance the problem created and close my account and just never touch paypal again.
Easy enough right? Except they made paying them back a massive hassle, and any time I tried to contact them it directed me to some french company somewhere that no one ever picks up the phone- I tested it and let it ring for literally hours upon hours there on hold for a rep that never comes.
If I don't give them any info I could get a normal paypal rep, but I've been lied to, hung up on, and all around had one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a company.
So eventually I managed to get a payment through to paypal to resolve the negative balance and the money owed- and NOW I AM GETTING COLLECTION LETTERS FOR THE SAME AMOUNT!
So what they expect me to pay the same amount TWICE because Paypal made a series of frustrating mistakes?
I just want to get this resolved so I can close my paypal account, and never have to deal with these people again. Any help anyone can offer would be great.
Edit: I think this ordeal is over, finally got someone from paypal collections and had to get them to reach out to NCO in order to resolve it- it is impossible for the customer to reach them.
