Hi, My eBay account was hacked yesterday and a number of purchases were made to a single seller with dispatch to Russia. I eBay account was blocked as soon as they noticed. I did all of the usual security steps etc. Contacted eBay and contacted the seller and started a claim with PayPal. However every time I message the seller through eBay the seller just responds "Currently we are unable to issue you a refund because you have still not closed your case. Please close your case and let us know we will issue you a full refund." What should I do I don't want to drop the case then them turn around and refuse a refund? Any help much appreciated.
