I hardly ever use PayPal for sure I don't keep any money in my PayPal account, because of their arbitrary, and likely illegal behavior. I haven't been damaged financially, so I cannot participate in any Class Action Lawsuit. But reading message after message it is clear a lawsuit is definitely in order. I tried to send $10 to a software developer as a donation. The developer provides a FREE browser add-on and asks quietly and gently for voluntary donations by anyone so inclined. The free version works fully no matter if the user donates or not and there are no nags or requests. So I send $10 to this guy since I've been using his software for three years for free. I figure it is the least I could do. I immediately get an account limitation notice from PayPal. Within a week I get an e-mail asking me why I am sending $10. Who gives them the right to snoop in my account without a warrant? And they read my message to the recipient where I mentioned the name similar software that stopped working three years ago, and the developer of that software cannot be located. So the people at PayPal want me to explain the SECRET CODE WORD "Lazarus".... which is nothing but the name of an old free browser add-on that no longer works and can no longer be downloaded from any browser add-on library anywhere. HOW DARE PayPal delve into the content of a short message and limit my account over a $10 donation to a stranger? This is why I tend to avoid using PayPal and do not shop on eBay because of PayPal's heavy-handed abuse of its users. There are other payment systems. Zelle is one. Facebook is getting into sending money between individuals. There are also foreign money transfer services that send money from the US to people overseas, as either cash that they can pick up or as a deposit into their foreign account. XE and World Remit are examples of a few of these services. After I went to the Resolution Center, and explained to them the simple answers to their highly intrusive questions, there is a button on the page labeled "Send us your feedback" but clearly they do not want to hear your feedback or mine. Clicking that button does nothing. It might be my ad blocker, uBlock Origin, but any decent programmer knows how to write code to live harmoniously with ad blockers.
