Back in February I had sold something for the first time with my PayPal account. Everything was perfect with the transaction and the buyer sent my money after receiving the product. I am 16 years old and I didn't know that I had to be 18 to receive my funds. Every since February, I have not had have access to my money. In the account menu it just says that my money is waiting, and when I click on the money it asks me to send Photo ID, SSN, Birth Certificate, etc. Since I'm underage I couldn't do anything so I asked my dad to call customer service so we can fix this problem. My dad has his PayPal account so we asked if they could transfer my funds from my account to my dad's account. I thought everything was fine once the agent said they had resolved the issue and my PayPal money should be transferred within 3 business days. However, that was back in March and it is now May. So about 1 week ago my dad and I call customer service again to see what went wrong because the money was still in my account and not in his account. We asked customer service if they could redo the transfer. My dad sent all the necessary documents like my birth certificate and SSN. The agent said that they will permanently lock my account and my money should be transferred within 2 days since her manager needs to review the transfer. It has now been 1 week since this call and the money is still in my account. What is going on? Two calls to Customer Support and months of waiting and I still haven't gotten my money?? This is outrageous. I'm not going to blame this all on PayPal because this is my fault because I'm underage but I need answers. Customer Service is LITERALLY DOING NOTHING. Can anyone ACTUALLY help me out this time?
