This is the reply i received yesterday from Paypal to bring you up to date:::I can help clarify. We are required to send out a tax document called a 1099-K if you meet the threshold of $20,000 in payments received and 200 transactions. However, even if you fall below those totals and we issue no tax documents, we cannot guarantee what the government will do or see regarding the amounts that are coming into the PayPal account. This question may be better suited for a tax professional or case. I have since been told that i could link up my Ebay account with someone else and my sales and earnings will not count against me, is this true?? I worry because i receive soc sec and my rent and student loans are based on my yearly income and i dont what to do anything to jeopardize any of that. Thank you for any help you can give me. 😄
