We purchase a Camera Drome from a *** (Be aware) via Ebay.
The item, apparently in working order arrives at the end of November 2017. We charge the item but the batteries won’t charge. I go back to the seller who apologises and asked for a video of the item and the charging of it. He agrees the item is faulty and offers to replace the batteries. There is a delay as he’s apparently working out of the country over Christmas. I leave it a few weeks and after no contact I open a resolution. This expires as the seller doesn’t respond and the case is closed. I contact PayPal who escalate the claim and there is no response but the case is again closed. This happens on 5 occasions. I eventually get them to agree to send a return to seller. The item is returned and I hear nothing and the case is closed. I contact PayPal again and they tell me that the seller has sent a legal document to say there are items missing (not the case) and the dispute is closed in favour of the seller. So I now have nfo item and it’s cost me the total amount and the return postage. How is this possible? PayPal have been no help 9and I am disgusted with the service. This is clearly a way to make fraudulent claims and receive both your item back and get paid for it.
He now has the front to put it back in Ebay showing the parts he claims are missing.
