I recently got scammed when purchasing an expensive dog. I paid the seller through Western Union, and am now out the money I spent, and the dog. Of course, this person is from another state, who really knows which one, and I am unable to get my money back. This has been a big loss for me. I found another seller and am now pretty hesitant to proceed, and am having a hard time trusting people after this recent experience. Someone suggested to me to use PayPal to pay this person and that my payment to them would be protected and if it turned out to be a scam I would be able to get my money back. I am wondering if there is any truth to this. I need to do what I can to protect my money and my daughter from being heartbroken again.
