On 12/23/2017 00:10 MST I attempted to purchase what I thought were motorcycle plastics for $310.25. I never received the plastics after a month of waiting and the seller just continued to tell me to be patient. On January 16th I received a package in the mail that said it was from the seller. Upon opening it nothing was in there but a small Disney hair-tie. I Immediately filed a dispute with pay-pal and requested a refund. I was told I would get my money back in no more than 30 days. The dispute was then changed to a claim and I continued to be patient in hopes of getting my money back. After multiple phone calls with pay pal I was told I needed to send the Disney hair tie all the way back to china in order to get my money back. Outraged already I decided to just do as they say and I shipped the hair tie back to the seller's address. I even payed to have extra security on the package so it would definitely make it there. Upon conversation with a pay-pal agent I asked "what if the seller lies and says he never received my package?" The agent responded by saying even if they say they don't receive it I will still get my money back as long as it is confirmed it was shipped. It is now 2/26/18 and I just received an email saying that I lost the claim and they "attempted to use the return shipment tracking information you provided, but were unable to verify delivery to your seller." I provided everything they asked me too and more. I provided the tracking number of the returned package, pictures of what I received in the mail, and a picture of the package that I sent back. I do not understand how I lost the claim and I do not know what to do from here. Please help me
