SOLVED Leaving this here in case someone in the future has the same problems with Memberpress: "Your users are seeing this error before getting to the payment screen: ERROR Invalid Payment Method. - This likely means that you have enabled the Customize Payment Methods and left this gateway option unchecked. Working on a Wordpress site with the Memberpress plugin, using Sandbox credentials: Heinyken-facilitator [at] gmail com Go through process of establishing API, signature, etc. from developer.paypal and setting up handshake at sandbox.paypal After establishing everything, try to make a payment/start membership, and no redirect happens, instead receive an error code: "ERROR: Invalid Payment Method". Not sure what debugging to do.

Hi Justin, Thanks for your help and following up faithfully by day. Unfortunately, out of the blue, the client decided yesterday to forgo using the Pro account (as I understand DPRP costs an additional monthly cost to the Pro Account), and we'll be using Standard. Hi, thanks for the response. - I've logged in as heinyken-facilitator [at] gmail - I've looked for an Upgrade to Pro option anywhere in my Profile or Business settings. - I can't find anything. heinyken [at] gmail [dot] com should be the address on file -- or do you mean the names of the two dummy accounts? Because it's Heinyken-facilitator [at] gmail which is doing the "selling" and -buyer is "buying"
