I have read a few interesting posts here in the forum but I have an additional question on the issue of Paypal's seller protection policy. Similar to a number of other posters I have sold a number of cell phones on eBay, many Internationally. I have a couple of shipments that have essentially been lost, claims are open and Paypal and the post office can't track the packages. I was shipping by USPS flat rate and buying postage online which is a huge mistake because these packages cannot be tracked in any way supposedly, not even scans leaving the country (hard to believe but I was told this directly by USPS). I am looking at Paypal's seller protection, would I be covered in case a package is lost? Paypal states you need to prove the package arrived to be covered, that doesn't seem like great coverage, maybe I am wrong in my understanding. I realize I need a 'valid' tracking number so lately I have been sending USPS priority International instead of flate rate which is still shaky on tracking. I have and will purchase insurance as well. If anyone has any thoughts they'd glady be appreciated. I certainly can't afford to lose hundred dollars at a time with undelivered shipments. Thanks.
