My mobile phone number is confirmed with my account ("Mobile confirmed"). I have to "Pay with PayPal" with an online vendor because it's the only choice I currently have and, according to the vendor, the most convenient. PayPal is stopping me from making the transaction prompting me with a "Quick security check." There I'm given two options: "Receive a text" or "Have us call you." Even though I have a registered phone number it's still asking me for a phone number. Once I enter the number I have already registered, I'm given the following error message: "For your security, we do not allow you to add a phone number that is not registered in your name." I want PayPal to put an end to this stupid security verification process associated with my account NOW. (I remember having another problem accessing an old PayPal account. PayPal led me to a phone number verification process as a last resort for not remembering my password. However, this never worked because I no longer had that phone number; I can't remember if and how I ultimately regained access to that account).
