Hi there, and thanks for reading. So the fraudlent seller has sent a counterfeit item that were significantly different to the initial description. I obviously filed a claim immediately through paypal but now the seller is requesting me to return the item to a non exisiting address in China. Provided address has no street address, no numbers, postal codes, no nothing. I though it was a common sense to conclude that a such address is invalid, but the Paypal required me to get a written validation from the carrieres(FEDEX, USPS, UPS..) saying that the address is indeed invalid. However, after visiting all three carriers, none of them were able to provide a such written confirmation. I even called the Postal Inspection and they told be that this type of service is not obtainable unless asked by the police authority. But what bothers me the most is that the seller initially misrepresented the item location as Colorado in her initial listing. The actual item was sent from HK, and now the return address in mainland China with no postal code. Paypal insists that I should be returing the item no matter where the seller requests them to be. Even it's in no whrere in Africa and even if it was misrepresented from the beginning. Otherwise, they cannot override the system and I'll lose the money(It's over 500USD). Is this true? I mean is it even logical for me to be responsible for seller's misrepresentation of item location? Had I known the item was located in Hong Kong, I would've never purchased it from the get go. I still see seller listing more items as we speak so more victims will sure to follow. Hope this page will help them too.. Thank you.
