Hi, I am new to forum and I need help ASAP. I have purchased video game account through ebay, but then seller wanted faster purchase through his paypal.me link. I thought paying him quicker would bring me the account quicker too (foolish). So, I asked seller to cancel the transaction which I got refund on that. Then I sent him $25 usd perfectly to his paypal account through paypal.me link he provided. So there is no more ebay involvement since the order was canceled on ebay, but I have still paid for account $25 usd through paypal. Myself expecting complete transaction as I paid and he took the payment, he said he is not able to provide me the information right away because he is trying to recover the email related to that account. I just decided to trust him and gave him some more time. It was 11/10/2017 the Friday. After the purchase, I kept messaging him Saturday and Sunday over and over but never got the answer from him. Seriously though, the seller wanted quicker purchase by me sending money directly into his paypal account, but he cannot finish the order? What a random thing! I have bought many accounts through ebay or any other sites, but it usually took up to 3 hours but never went beyond that. Now it's 11/16/2017 Thursday which is almost a week. I have sent message everyday but I never got answer from him. So I decided to "Report a Problem" through Resolution Center. I have described what happened (Paid but never received an item) and now it is on my resolution center as open case with status: "Messages From Sellers" not "Awaiting Seller Response". It feels weird because I have sent message through this dispute and this dispute is not waiting for seller's reponse. Can seller still be able to answer through this? It says allow up to 11/17/2017 for seller to respond me. Is my dispute on the right status? Will I be able to escalate this disupte to a claim? Thank you for your answers.
